Sufficient

Numbers 11:23

And the Lᴏʀᴅ said to Moses, “Is the Lᴏʀᴅ’s hand shortened? Now you shall see whether my word will come true for you or not.”

Is the Lᴏʀᴅ fully sufficient? Can He deliver the impossible? How many times do you want God to prove Himself. Again.

The Israelites are longing for the ‘good old days’ of Egypt, the abundance of idealized times while conveniently forgetting the slavery it cost. They want the good stuff and they want it NOW! And in abundance! God has said He will provide but doubt remains whether even He can provide enough.

But Moses said, “The people among whom I am number six hundred thousand on foot, and you have said, ‘I will give them meat, that they may eat a whole month!’ 1

God had spoken that He would again provide.

You shall not eat just one day, or two days, or five days, or ten days, or twenty days,
but a whole month, until it comes out at your nostrils and becomes loathsome to you, because you have rejected the LORD who is among you and have wept before him, saying, “Why did we come out of Egypt?” 2

How much does it take for you not to believe that God is able to do what He says?

Is the Lᴏʀᴅ’s hand shortened in what you believe He is able to fulfill in your life that He has promised to do? Are you willing to give Him the opportunity to see if He will come true?
