God comes alongside in our need!

Our dilemma is whether to trust our Perception to create our own Truth or to trust God’s Revelation as exceeding our ability to recognize and act upon what is revealed. We are placing it all on the line so it is the most important judgment of our life.
Upfront: all of these ‘glimpses’ are upon Revelation by the “I AM” God of the Bible who so first identified Himself to Moses. More about that in the glimpses.

What is Revelation?

Revelation could be seen as a matter of Perception save for the detail that in our context, Revelation is the receiving of input from the accurate source and then accepting and acting upon that as Truth without adding our personal creativity to the Truth. The expression may be creative but the Revelation should not be changed to match our perspective on what we find livable. Revelation cannot be augmented by the desires of the recipient—it must stand as True, Unalterable and Actionable.

Who is God?

"My considerate opinion is that I'm going with the god of the Bible who identified Himself as Jehovah to Moses when they first met. "I AM" is My Name and it is by My authority You speak on my behalf. "For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit."

Bible Canon

How do we decide what is 'bible'? Just who says God said certain books and not others? What is textual transmission and if we didn't have books and the internet, how did it get passed along?
The time of the writing was near 1,400 years and ended with the death of John who wrote down Revelation circa 95 AD. We as of now have none of the original manuscripts from the hands of the writers so how do we know it is accurate to how it was originally written. What of the Apocrypha? Why does the Ethiopian Bible have 88 books and the King James Version 1611 have 66 books with the Apocrypha in a separate section?

There are hundreds of interpretations of the Bible with varying motivations from minute points of theology to language of the day, endeavors to clarify and some to make it incomprehensible so that only the hierarchy could tell the commoner what was meant.
