God. Above All
“He who comes from above is above all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly way. He who comes from heaven is above all.”
There you have the summary of this site so if that is enough, you need go no further. Easy wasn’t it?
This section takes a broader look at who God says He is but if you want man’s wisdom on that subject, sorry, we only have what God has to say about Himself.
Philosophy, speculations, imaginations will be found on other sites—we even try to avoid tradition, folklore or the science fiction presentations of god possibilities in media.

God before Time
'In the beginning, God'1 really doesn't start at the beginning as we usually think of time but rather when the Autobiography of God begins with what we now can know. Yes, before 'in the beginning' God already was. God is both Eternal—no beginning nor ending—and Infinite—without the limits of time or space. God exceeds that which is knowable unless He makes it known.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made."2

Who is God?
'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness... So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."3 We do not have any satisfactory analogies to compare the plural singularity of God so theologians borrowed the Greek word 'hypostatic' to define Jesus being both fully God and fully man. 'ĕlōhîm is the God word in Genesis 1:1 and throughout that chapter it is translated 'God'. While it seems singular in English, it is a plural form of the Hebrew word for a singular God.

Is God Relevant?
If the Bible is the Autobiography of God and He created everything that exists after He created, might not His 'opinion' matter? Would He not have some right as Creator or even Owner over all He created? Is God really relevant or have we exceeded a need for a god other than ourselves? Can we not solve all our problems by our wisdom and knowledge without dependency upon a supreme being?

Who Are Those Guys
So before everything we know of this creation was created, there was God. Did He need a supporting cast or was He sufficient in Himselves (plural Him)? Who are all those angels, archangels, seraphims, cherubims, demons, devil as well as Jesus, Adam, Moses, those prophet guys, scribes, priests, disciples, apostles and saints? Who are those characters in the Renaissance paintings that are lounging on clouds playing harps? How did evil come to be if God created everything and pronounced it 'good'? How good do we have to be to be good enough?

Need to Know
"...saw that the tree was good for food, and it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, ... took of its fruit and ate... then their eyes were opened and they knew that they were naked..."4 Knowledge—how much do you require to become self-sufficient? Do you have to know to be complete, to fulfill your life or purpose or could you wait for God to reveal what you need? "But concerning the day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only."5 Even if you had the right or ability to know all things, do you need to know to agree with God?

Fidelity—Glorify Your Name!
How committed is God to accomplishing His purposes without violating His character? Jesus prays in His last night as God in man, "Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour'? But for this purpose I have come to this hour. Father, glorify your name." Then a voice came from heaven: "I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again."6 "For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."7
