All-In Trust

Trust in the Lᴏʀᴅ with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make straight your paths.

Avoiding God

…Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lᴏʀᴅ, would have none of my counsel and despised all my reproof, therefore they shall eat the fruit of their way, and have their fill of their own devices.

First Knowledge

The fear of the Lᴏʀᴅ is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Enduring Love

‘… for His steadfast love endures forever, …”

Hypocrisy

But they flattered him with their mouths; they lied to him with their tongues. Their heart was not steadfast toward him; they were not faithful to his covenant.

In Spite of All This

In spite of all this, they still sinned; despite his wonders, they did not believe.

Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God, and that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love.

The friendship of the Lᴏʀᴅ is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.

His Paths

He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Humility in the Light

“You save a humble people… it is You who light my lamp; the Lᴏʀᴅ my God lightens my darkness.”

Seekers of God

The Lᴏʀᴅ looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God.

Set Apart to God

But know that the Lᴏʀᴅ has set apart the godly for himself; the Lᴏʀᴅ hears when I call to him.

Blessed in Delighting

“Blessed is the man who walks… his delight is in the law of the Lᴏʀᴅ…”

“But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly?”
