When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lᴏʀᴅ appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless, that I may make my covenant between me and you, and may multiply you greatly.”
And he believed the Lᴏʀᴅ, and he counted it to him as righteousness.
Then the Lᴏʀᴅ appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built there an altar to the Lᴏʀᴅ, who had appeared to him.
Now the Lᴏʀᴅ said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.
And the LORD said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another’s speech.” So the LORD dispersed them from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city.

“If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, and you must rule over it.”
And the Lord God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them.
But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, "Where are you?”
"Then God said, "Let us make man in our image... So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."
"On the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation."
"Then God said, "Let us make man in our image... So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."
